Matt is making us corned beef tomorrow for dinner. It is definitely an acquired taste, but I've got the taste for it and I think it is deeelicious!

This afternoon I went fabric shopping with my mom and came home with lots of lovely fabrics that are now in the wash, and then that eye candy will just be waiting for me to make a few quilts. Happy, happy sigh. Love, love! I just need to finish up this quilt first then I can start on the new ones...

It is truly no exaggeration that it has rained here nearly every day this past month; but tomorrow is supposed to be sunny, and I am just ecstatic that we can finally get out of the house and do something outside. Maybe go to the beach or go for bubble tea downtown or both?

And the happiest thought of all is the fact that I get to see my sweet husband tonight; this is the longest we have been apart since we have been married, and I have missed him so.

This has been a really wonderful 4th of July. Happy Independence Day!
